I’m an artist making original paintings inspired by the landscapes, forests, and changing seasons of the English countryside. I paint in watercolour, gouache, and acrylic, using a carefully chosen palette of soft, muted colours. Strongly influenced by folk art and book illustration, my compositions are a blend of observation and imagination.
“I paint where I would like to be.”
I’ve recently been experimenting with needlework, translating the style and subject matter of my original artwork to stitched pieces. There are a few examples of these on the website at the moment, but I’ll be adding more soon!
Earlier in my career, I illustrated book covers and magazine articles and worked on commercial illustration projects, as well as exhibiting with numerous galleries, both in the UK and overseas. I now concentrate entirely on my personal work, selling paintings and prints directly to collectors exclusively through my shop. I launch collections throughout the year, so please join the mailing list newsletter to receive a notification when new work becomes available.
If you’d like to discover more about my art practice, I share an in-depth look at my process, the materials I use, and my inspirations on the membership platform Patreon. You can also find me on YouTube, Instagram, and Substack.
